I'm not sure just why, but I really am drawn to "old" things. I especially love antiquing perfectly gleaming Sterling silver. Above is a two-strand, antiqued silver chain with clear, smokey and lemon quartz. The earrings match perfectly. I went slightly mad for a few days, antiquing every piece of silver in sight. I'm all better now. I photographed this myself using a small dress form and plucked a Japanese snowball flower while it was green!

the funky "studio"
This is it ... where I do my work every day. Me, the radio, spiders, rooster, dogs and sometimes my cat Elsie joins us and invariably steals my chair when I leave it unattended. My work table is front left ... covered with junk. I must get around to organizing myself.

Gosh no! Isn't that just terrible. With a week to go. Not that Christmas waits. Let's see, the squirrel kept pulling the lights off the strand I'd put out on the deck until now only about 4 lights are shining, the lighted snowman blew over 5 times... the tree started leaning to the left and now it's leaning to the right ... ummmm... ready for Christmas? As ready as I'll ever be!
